A Humbirds bee and bug hotel is more than garden decoration — it's a working habitat that makes a genuine difference to the wildlife in your garden.

Our hotels are designed primarily for solitary bees — Leafcutter Bees and Mason Bees in particular — which are non-aggressive, brilliant pollinators, and enormously beneficial to any garden. Unlike honeybees, solitary bees don't live in colonies. They need individual nesting spaces — bamboo tubes, drilled logs, pine cones and natural materials — to lay their eggs and overwinter safely.

Every Humbirds bee and bug hotel is made by hand in our Staffordshire workshop. Each one is filled with a carefully chosen mix of natural materials and housed in a solid hardwood frame, painted in your colour choice and finished with our signature bee detail.
